Never. Revertify's core principle is approval-first: every AI suggestion appears in a preview diff, and nothing is applied to your live store until you explicitly click "Apply." Not a single character is written to your store without your confirmation. In fact, your dashboard includes a pre-loaded Demo Sandbox Store so you can safely practice applying and restoring AI suggestions on test products before touching a single line of your live catalog.
What exactly gets saved in a snapshot?

A snapshot captures the current meta title, meta description, and image alt texts for every product in your store. It is a complete, timestamped record of your SEO state — stored securely and available for one-click restoration at any time.
What happens if my rankings drop after making changes?

Go to your Snapshots page and click "Restore." Revertify will rewrite your metadata back to exactly what it was before — every product, every field — in under 3 seconds. You do not need to contact support or wait for anyone's help.
If I cancel, do my optimizations disappear?

No. Once a change is applied to your Shopify store, it belongs to your store permanently. Cancelling or uninstalling Revertify will never revert your metadata. We do not hold your work hostage to your subscription.
Will Revertify inject code into my Shopify theme?

Revertify makes no changes to your theme files. It interacts with your store exclusively through Shopify's official product metadata API. Uninstalling Revertify leaves your theme completely untouched.
How good is the AI copy quality?

Can I selectively approve changes, or is it all or nothing?

Will I be charged after I uninstall the app?

Can I restore individual products instead of the whole store?

How many snapshots are kept?

Does Revertify work with custom Shopify themes?

Yes. Revertify operates entirely through Shopify's product and metadata APIs — it does not depend on, read, or modify your theme in any way. It works with every Shopify 2.0 theme, custom themes, and headless storefronts.
What languages does the AI support for copy generation?

The AI generates copy in English by default. Multi-language support is in development and planned for a future release. If your store operates in another language, you can currently use Revertify for backup, restore, and change tracking while managing copy generation manually.
Does Revertify work if I already have SEO metadata I'm happy with?

Revertify is not only for stores starting from scratch. Many merchants use it purely as a safety net — connecting their store, creating a snapshot of their existing metadata, and using the restore feature as insurance while they make manual edits or test other tools. You are never required to use the AI generation features.

There is no permanent free plan. Revertify offers a 14-day free trial with full access — no credit card required. This gives you time to connect your store, run a scan, create a snapshot, generate and review AI suggestions, and test a restore before making any commitment.
What stores is Revertify built for?

Revertify is built for Shopify merchants with existing catalogs who want to improve their SEO without risking what's already working. It works best for stores with 50 or more products, though smaller stores benefit equally from the snapshot and restore features. Revertify is expanding to WooCommerce and other platforms in a future release.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes. Cancel in your settings with one click — no email required, no contact with sales, no waiting period. Your account data is preserved for 30 days after cancellation in case you return. After 30 days, everything is permanently deleted upon request.
How is Revertify different from just running regular Shopify backups?

Shopify backups are broad and cumbersome to restore from. Revertify is a precision instrument: it tracks SEO-specific metadata at the field level, creates granular snapshots tied to specific changes, and restores exactly the fields you need — without requiring you to restore your entire store or export CSV files.
What happens to my data if I close my Revertify account?

All data — your stored snapshots, change history, and cached product information — is permanently deleted from our servers. Applied changes on your Shopify store remain unchanged, as they belong to your store, not to Revertify.
Do I need technical knowledge to use Revertify?

Can Revertify hurt my current SEO rankings?
